The City of Chambray-lès-Tours selected ATEMCO for the installation of modular buildings to serve as sports locker rooms. The assembly of 4 Unigalow-type modules provides 114.6 m² on a single level, housing four locker rooms equipped with showers and sanitary facilities, compliant with thermal regulations and Category 5 Type X public-access building (ERP) standards.
Domestic hot water production is secured by two 300-liter water heaters, providing redundancy that ensures uninterrupted service even in the event of equipment failure. Materials comply with the most stringent fire safety standards: A2-s1,d0-rated wood-cement panel flooring, and rock wool core sandwich panel walls with the same classification, also utilized for 1-hour fire-rated risk areas. The layout is engineered for heavy-duty use, featuring straightforward circulation, low-maintenance finishes, and optimized comfort for all users.
The modular construction method also minimized on-site disruption and ensured rapid operational readiness of the building.
