The Val-d'Oise Departmental Council awarded ATEMCO Lot No. 1 "Modular Building / Walkway / Structural Works / Site Setup" for the contract to install four modular classrooms at Saint-Exupéry Middle School in Villiers-le-Bel.
Manufactured at ATEMCO's plant in Mussidan, the modules form a two-story building where classrooms are accessed via an external walkway. Construction was carried out on an occupied site within the operational school grounds: access preparation and utility connection works (VRD) in summer 2022, reversible screw pile foundations installed in August, followed by delivery and crane installation of the ground-floor and upper-floor modules in September.
Fully equipped and secured (railings, emergency egress systems), the building was handed over on November 17, 2022, for occupancy by middle school students during the school year. Designed for the everyday needs of students, teachers, and technical staff, the layout prioritizes clear circulation, operational comfort, and equipment durability.
Off-site factory prefabrication guarantees high-precision build quality while significantly minimizing on-site intervention time.
